Apple Claimed to Join the Artificial Intelligence Caravan with New M4 Chips: Will Come to All Macs

Apple seems to be taking big steps in artificial intelligence, which it has remained silent for now.

Apple’s latest M3 processors were very popular with Mac users and made a noticeable difference in terms of performance. However, the decline in Mac sales last year must have made Apple uneasy, and it seems that the company will focus on artificial intelligence in the new member of the M series.

Mark Gurman from Bloomberg claimed that Apple is nearing the end of the production of M4 chips and will bring these chips, which will be focused on artificial intelligence, to all Mac series. This means that MacBook Pro, Air, Mac Pro, Mac Studio, Mac mini and iMac models will come with the artificial intelligence M4 chip.

Stating that Mac sales dropped by 27 percent last year, Gurman stated that the expectations against Apple grew when the M3 chips did not add enough M3 chips to the M2 models. Trying to catch up with its rivals such as Microsoft and Google on the artificial intelligence side, Apple will add artificial intelligence capabilities to all Mac products with its new M4 chips.

Apple, which will announce these this year, will continue to release Mac models with M4 chips in 2025. The entry-level M4 chips are codenamed Donan, while the more powerful ones are codenamed Brava and Hidra. It will also be announced what innovations the chips in question will bring with the next macOS version.

These announcements are expected to be made at the Developer Conference to be held in June. The company will try to catch up with its competitors in terms of artificial intelligence with the new processor on the iPhone side. What do you think will be the new innovations on Mac and iPhone?
